Freedom Scorned is set in the English new town of Acornleigh, foolishly built upon ancient ley lines and the bones of the angry dead. Once a home to druids, gods and goddesses, more recently cursed by idealistic post war town planners, Acornleigh is a supernatural powder keg awaiting the right spark. Freedom Scorned is Ginger Jam comics’ first excursion into this terrifying world.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Raised in the depths of the English countryside, most of which brought him out in a rash, young Barlow had nothing but comics, Doctor Who, and reruns of Flash Gordon for company. His first graphic novel, Phoenix Square, was published by Slave Labor Graphics. Fatherhood and a career in graphic design resulted in a brief hiatus from creating more fantastical, sequential tales for the world to enjoy.
