Ginger Jam?

If you’ve stumbled upon this site looking for a sweet sticky gingery treat to spread on your toast then I’m sorry, that’s not what it’s about. The only preserve you’ll find here is the virtual preservation of my artwork. I do like ginger jam though. It is very nice. Gingerjam is the blog and folio of Paul Barlow, a graphic designer currently working for Burnley council.

Ginger

I’m not a red head. Apart from some odd bits of beard, I’m more mousy brown, which is the very best shade of brown. I’m also a graphic designer. I design leaflets and displays and websites and all sorts of things.

Jam

I love illustration, so there’s lots of that on display here. Some of it is finished work; some of it is sketchy and rough around the edges and is the visual equivalent of a musical jam.

Jamming

In my spare time I like to cycle, and I’m trying to teach the dog javascript*. I also make terrible rock music in the attic. If you’re very lucky I’ll forget to upload some samples of my music on the site.
