As part of Painting Padiham 2018, the Men from NAFA urged the people of Padiham to gift them poems and words that would be launched into space.
I was lucky enough to provide ground support in the form of graphic design and film making.

This project seems to have spanned the history of this little blog, starting as a one-off sketch back in 2012, and is now a complete narrative, available to buy from comixology.
You can read more about the book on it’s own little mini-site, but, in short, it’s the tale of man seeking freedom from the trappings of life without considering the consequences. He’s helped into a fresh living hell by the devil girl living in his bathroom mirror. How does he get back to his real life? What does his demonic temptress do during the daytime in our world? Sadly in 2017 I’ve not done as much life drawing (2018 – do more life drawing).
Here are some highlights from Blackburn’s Drink and Draw earlier in the year. An Easter special and ‘Gothic Lolita’ – hopefully self evident as to which is which.
And I did an evening of life drawing in Barcelona, with real life paper and pencil!
