An ongoing obsession? This is a sequel to an earlier post, a completely different treatment from the same batch of sketches. This is a bit more fun and much more what I had in mind – a limited pallet, basic shapes and lots of brick and tile pattern.

Is there anything more peaceful than staring out of the window on a Sunday morning, snuggled up in a dressing gown with Owen the dog at your side? Nothing could be nicer. Well, maybe if your partner stopped sketching you and fetched you a nice hot ribena, maybe that would be nicer.
…and, any minute now the dog’s going to leap up from that cushion and tear your slippers to pieces… Sunday morning can’t be beat.
Sometimes a glass of wine is all we need to make us smile. Sometimes it’s just the glass that is smiling.
