I saw a bit of the big painting challenge programme on tv, or as I like to call it, the Great British Paint Off. This week they were drawing and painting the human figure, which is a wonderful thing to do. During the bit that I saw, a contestant was praised for a great piece of drawing, and a good use of proportion, but hadn’t drawn what was in front of them.
So, it’s just as well I’m not on there… Here is this month’s drink and draw sketch, that I’ve carefully coloured in and added FIRE to. Wish I’d been this rebellious at college and set fire to Ken and Betty*.
*metaphorically, I mean they were lovely people, but they never breathed fire…
